Terry White and George Vetter formed the firm in 1981. Terry has over 30 years of trial and appellate experience in commercial and other business litigation. He has participated as guest faculty in MCLE/NITA Trial Advocacy Programs and is a mediator on the Federal Court's ADR Panel. For more than 10 years Terry has been selected by the Best Lawyers in America in its commercial litigation category and, more recently, by the New England Super Lawyers publication in its business litigation category.
Terry served for many years on Rhode Island's Federal Board of Bar Examiners, and as Chair of the Bar Association's Federal Court Bench/Bar Committee. He is Past-President of the Rhode Island Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and currently active in DRI and the International Association of Defense Counsel. In 1974-1975 he clerked for Justice Alfred H. Joslin on the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
