George, a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, is admitted to practice law in four states, including Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  George handles complex commercial disputes and significant personal injury/product liability matters. He has been recognized as one of the best lawyers in America in the field of commercial litigation in the 2006 and 2007 editions of the  Best Lawyers In America. George has also been named as a Super Lawyer in the area of business litigation by The New England Super Lawyers Magazine, 2007.

He is a past President of the Federal Bar Association, Rhode Island Chapter, and currently serves on its Executive Committee, and, on the national level, he is Vice-President, First Circuit. He also is a member of the Rhode Island State and Federal Court Bench/Bar Committees, of which Committees he heads the Continuing Legal Education Subcommittee.  George also formed and chaired the ABA Committee on Railroad Law (now called Commercial Transportation Litigation). 

George has lectured at many professional organization meetings and seminars on such topics, amongst others, as Insurance Coverage Litigation, Evidence, Expert Testimony, Trial Practice, Summary Judgment, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Removal/Remand, Electronic Discovery, Jury Instructions, Contribution and Indemnity and Product Liability. George’s articles appear in many publications, including The Rhode Island Law Weekly, The Rhode Island Bar Journal, The Pennsylvania Law Journal-Reporter, The Trial Practice Newsletter, The ABA Brief, The Voice, IADC’s Seminar Brochure, Advanced Litigation Strategy Forum, and DRI’s Trials and Tribulations

George is a member of the American, Federal, Rhode Island Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California Bar Associations, DRI, IADC, FDCC, DCRI, and American Inns of Court.  George has served as an Adjunct Professor at Roger Williams University School of Law instructing on trial practice.
